Material Testing
Material testing needs to be conducted by the waste producer; however, we are here to assist. Our team can guide you through the testing process, ensuring you meet all regulatory requirements and achieve true results. We're committed to supporting you every step of the way, making the process as smooth and efficient as possible. Here are a couple of ways we can help:
01
Testing Regime Advice
As outlined in the Waste Classification technical guidance (WM3) document, how to collect the material for testing is very important. You must show evidence that you collect several small samples from varing locations of your material pile. This must be completed regularly and must be mixed into a seperate sealed container along with previously collected material. Once you have a average sample of your material, you can obtain a small sample from your sealed container to send for testing.
02
Testing Frequency
Collecting samples needs to be done as regular as possible as per the testing regime, however the frequency of sending a sample to the labratory can vary depending on material and its end destination. We are here to help.
03
Network of Laboratories
Depending on the material being tested and the specific disposal site parameters, we can help determine which laboratory will be most suitable for your needs. Different labs specialise in various types of material analysis, and we’ll ensure that your samples are sent to the facility best equipped to provide accurate and compliant results. This ensures that the testing aligns with both regulatory standards and the disposal requirements of the site.
04
Classification Guidance
We have a deep understanding of the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) codes used to classify waste streams. Once your waste has been tested, we can advise on the EWC codes that best suit your material. This ensures accurate classification, aiding in compliance with regulations and facilitating proper disposal or recycling.
05
Sampling Proceedures
We can assist with all your sampling procedures, from implementation to monitoring. Our support includes designing and setting up effective sampling protocols, ensuring adherence to regulations, and overseeing the process to maintain accuracy and reliability. This comprehensive approach ensures that your sampling is thorough and meets all required standards.
